About Bursaries For Boys In Need
The Nudgee College Foundation, through the Jack Ross Bursary, is committed to raising the funds needed to offer life-changing opportunities to young men who would otherwise be unable to access a Nudgee education.
These bursaries are specifically for young men whose families have faced significant financial hardship and who are in need of support to pursue their dreams.
The opportunities provided through this bursary are truly transformative. We award the bursary to young men of strong character, those who are ready to embrace every opportunity Nudgee has to offer, and who will leave our College as capable, compassionate individuals ready to make a positive impact on the world.
The Jack Ross Bursary is named in honour of John (Jack) Elliott Ross, a remarkable figure in the history of Nudgee College. As a respected student, teacher, coach, and long-time secretary of the Old Boys Association, Jack's legacy spans from 1908 to 1972, and his influence continues to inspire.
Donations to the Jack Ross Bursary over $2 are tax-deductible.
